The three girls Aliese, Carter, and Naomi are all middle schoolers with their own independent and creative flare. They’re all different from their school peers, and they’reall wildly different from each other. But it is through those differences that they share a strong bond with one another. After Aliese is rejected from her pretentious English teacher’s original musical rendition of Swan Lake, the girls take it upon themselves to make their own version of the play.
